I participated in the Toni & Guy beginners colour course in June 2023. With no prior colouring background, except for a gents barbering course 13 years ago, I had little salon experience. After spending 35 years in the construction sector, I left a building site on Friday 16th June and entered the Toni & Guy academy in London on Monday 19th June. Under the guidance of some of the UK's top colour technicians, including the exceptionally talented Michela Bazzoli, I found the course to be rapid, intense, and challenging. With the support of the academy staff, particularly Michela, I successfully obtained my NVQ3 in hair colouring with flying colours.
I wholeheartedly recommend the academy. The students exhibit great patience and precision. My haircut experience was fantastic, resulting in a beautifully styled outcome. Not only was I pleased, but everyone else around me was also satisfied with their cuts, and I did not witness a single poor cut.
