I adore these individuals, they are certainly worth the 30-minute journey up the motorway for. I've become quite a regular, from Jazz piercing 18 new holes in me and a few in my child, to the extensive piece Jodie has been crafting for the past 7 months (it just keeps expanding with all the ideas we keep brainstorming!) You are always greeted warmly, and I appreciate how much they value customer feedback. Additionally, with an all-female team, it can feel less daunting than some tattoo parlours, especially when you are baring minimal clothing (although privacy curtains are available if needed).
I am absolutely enamoured with my tattoo. Jess did an outstanding job with such a special piece. She perfectly captured the features of my dog. I would wholeheartedly recommend Black Ivy, the ambiance is fantastic, the artists are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the prices are superb for the quality of the artwork.
I would unreservedly recommend having your next tattoo or piercing done at Black Ivy, the studio is delightful, immaculate, and all the tattoo artists/piercers were extremely friendly! I felt genuinely comfortable and relaxed there! Charlie, who tattooed me, is one of 3 apprentices, she is fantastic!! Exceptional artwork and a delightful individual all around!! Jazz also pierced my septum on the same day... Jazz was equally brilliant and immediately put me at ease! I couldn't find any faults! Such a marvellous experience... I will definitely return :) :)
