Julie Nash has played a huge part in my quick and successful recovery from complicated knee revision surgery. Lovely physio who knows her 'stuff'! Receptionists always friendly and cheerful too. Really happy with everything. Thank you.
Recently I had two appointments at The Arches for an acute back injury. Having never been there before I wasn’t sure what to expect. The directions on Google maps are spot on and take you to the free car park behind the Town Hall where the practice is located which is also conveniently next to a Pharmacy. The River Suite entrance is on the first floor and there is also good accessibility with a lift on the right as you go through the main entrance on the ground floor. The practice itself is bright and well lit with an amazing new gym and rehab room on the left before going into reception. Staff are delightful and friendly, therapists are highly experienced, kind, thoughtful, professional and knowledgeable taking time to explain everything in detail. The appointment never felt rushed but also felt efficient and targeted to my exact needs. I highly recommend this physiotherapy practice to anyone, old and young alike, also including patients with sports injuries because there are therapists on the team with many years of professional sports injury physiotherapy experience.
Consulting John Evans has proved invaluable in understanding a long-standing ankle problem that appeared to be potentially life-changing. Instead, I now have a diagnosis to put to the NHS consultant I am waiting to see. Meanwhile the exercise programme he has given me has set me on the road to recovery, perhaps obviating the need for surgery or more drastic intervention.
