What a letdown... Initially, I attempted to schedule an appointment via telephone, but upon posing my first query, the individual who answered curtly instructed me to call back in an hour due to ongoing room cleaning. Undeterred, I opted for online booking. Following an email confirmation with the designated date and time, I thought everything was in order! I arranged a couple's massage for my partner and me, arranged for our baby to be cared for as we rarely have time for ourselves, took a day off work - all meticulously planned! Upon arrival for our appointment, we were informed that our booking was nonexistent and were advised to return in an hour due to their purported busyness. Despite presenting the email confirmation and explaining our time constraints as we needed to collect our child, we attempted to reason with the situation. The lady persistently reiterated, "sorry, we're busy now." Requesting to speak with a manager, we were informed he was on holiday. How could we resolve this? Given that the booking was made over a week ago and our plans were contingent on it. Once more, the response was, "you have to come back in an hour." Subsequently, another lady appeared and informed us of the no-noise policy due to other customers. While I appreciate the need for a serene atmosphere during massages, why should we have to contend when the facts are clear, and we are told to return in an hour? Furthermore, we were informed that online bookings were not monitored, so who sent the confirmation email? This marks my inaugural review, positive or negative, but the experience left me feeling unsettled. I understand that errors can occur, but instructing me to return in an hour without addressing the mistake is not a satisfactory resolution!
