I am a picky old Keith and know a top-notch trim when I see it having visited some of Edinburgh's finest salons. Upon relocating to Glasgow, I stumbled upon an exceptional barber who swiftly jetted off to Abu Dhabi. During the interim, my locks grew to nearly hip length as I scoured through feedback, deciphering the hidden meanings, and stumbled upon Melissa Timperley and, coincidentally, Joe. I can confidently claim this is tied for first place in the rankings of the greatest trims I've ever received (and I was a fashion model in the 1970s). Joe attentively listened to my desires and delivered the flawless cut. Crucially, a good five months post-cut and style, I can style my naturally curly hair as I please and it looks fantastic. Absolutely thrilled!
This marked my maiden visit to Melissa Timperley, and my stylist Megan was exceptional. She was delightful to converse with and executed a remarkable job with my locks. It had been years since I last had my hair dyed, and I sought something low-maintenance that blended seamlessly with my natural hue, and she nailed it. I also opted for a drastic change with a significantly shorter style. I always feel a tad apprehensive about finding the right hairdresser due to the mix of curl patterns in my hair, but Megan handled them with finesse. Just returned from Melissa Timperley. Check out my evaluation here. My visits to the salon are consistently delightful experiences. The team is all wonderful, and the ambiance is incredibly serene. During my past two visits, Hamish styled and dyed my hair... an absolute wizard with the shears! I have never witnessed anyone trim a fringe like he does. I always depart the salon enamoured with my cut and colour when Hamish is the artist. He dedicates ample time to comprehending precisely what I desire and progresses step by step to ensure my satisfaction. I truly value that he invests time in perfecting my fringe to align with my wishes, as very few have executed it precisely as I desire... an exceedingly talented Stylist!
