Remarkable Hare

I am delighted I visited this establishment. As an outsider who did not grow up with traditional Sunday roasts, I was thrilled to experience it here. Absolutely scrumptious. The pub may be small but it exudes coziness, with lovely decor and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a delightful experience and I will certainly be returning.

Had the sharing platter today and what a feast that was. A variety of meats cooked to a high standard. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The gravy had a unique flavour that elevated the dish. The roast pork belly was my favourite, juicy and crispy at the same time. In my 31 years, this is undoubtedly the best Sunday roast I've ever had. Generous portions as well.

Avoid this place at all costs, unless you want to endure slow service and frustration. The kitchen staff seemed disorganized, with the cook appearing lost and the young waiter aimlessly wandering around. There was only one person taking orders, who seemed exhausted. Our order was forgotten and blamed on a ticketing issue, or perhaps they neglected to pay the subscription resulting in our order being missed. They served a table of 7 that arrived after us before attending to our order. The food was undercooked, with raw dough still present. We used to be regular patrons, but it appears they no longer value our custom. Tonight, we were only charged for the gammon. Overall, the service was disgraceful. During our previous visit, we were turned away for arriving 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. This time, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes while others were served before us. While I understand that everyone has off days, this seems to be a recurring issue here. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place unless they make significant changes to the kitchen staff and management. Very poor management leading to unnecessary waste.
