Bombshell

My appointment was with Jay, who did an outstanding job. Despite a scheduling mishap (not of her making) that led to a double booking, she managed to rectify the situation and ensure my hair was still styled. She even treated me to a glass of bubbles, making me feel truly pampered! Jay's work is exceptional, and she provides clear explanations throughout the process. A perfect 10 out of 10 :)

My experience at this salon was nothing short of disastrous. I paid for a full head balayage but left with only half my head highlighted in a streaky, overly ashy, and poorly blended manner. It felt like no attention was paid to my desires; there was no consultation, no explanations during the appointment, and a rushed atmosphere as the staff seemed eager to finish for the day. When I tried to address the issues with Charisse, who worked on my hair, she ignored my messages on Instagram. I contacted the salon seeking resolution and was assured a call back from the owner, which never materialised. It seems like a waste of money, as I now have to seek correction elsewhere. I rarely complain or leave negative feedback, but I am genuinely appalled by the disrespectful treatment of customers at this salon. If possible, I would rate them zero stars.

My initial visit to the salon was utterly disappointing. The head stylist, Charisse, arrived a staggering hour and 10 minutes late for my appointment. I sat in the chair, assured she would be quick, only to be left waiting for so long that another stylist had to hastily colour my hair to accommodate her own client. When Charisse finally appeared, there was no hint of an apology. Instead, she indulged in a 10-minute conversation about her recent breakup and proceeded to leisurely blow dry her own hair while I waited. Only after finishing her own hair did she attend to mine, displaying a complete lack of interest and failing to offer any apology. I have no intention of returning and strongly advise others to steer clear of this stylist.
