I frequently bring my child to the toddler splash in the heated pool. Fantastic.
This is a rather sizable recreation centre with indoor and outdoor pools. We opted for the outdoor brine pool (one of just 2 in the realm, the other being Droitwich Spa Lido). The outdoor pool spans 30 metres and is heated to 24°. The changing rooms are quite disordered (catering to all the pools on site). Warm showers are accessible. Lockers can be found in the changing rooms or by the poolside (£1 refundable). Ample parking is offered on site (complimentary post 3pm). Ensure you reserve your session beforehand through their website/app. The pool was well-maintained. The paving surrounding the pool is somewhat slippery, so it's advisable to wear sliders. The shallow end is farthest from the indoor changing rooms, but there are numerous loungers, so bring a towel if you wish to avoid a lengthy, chilly walk back to the indoor showers. No photos allowed at the pool.
Decent amenities. I appreciate the outdoor brine pool. Not fond of the necessity to still book a timed slot post-COVID. Left waiting in the cold until it's time for your slot to commence. No charge for parking after 3pm. Only reimbursed for 1 hour of parking at other times.
