Extremely dissatisfied with the service. Waited for an hour to be attended to, and Angela was exceptionally rude to me. The overall experience was uncomfortable, and my nails are uneven. I feel like my money has been wasted. I was excited to have them done for my birthday, but now I am thoroughly disappointed. This needs to be addressed.
I visited the salon for the 1st time today on a recommendation. I inquired about the price for a gel pedicure and gel on my natural nails. The quoted price was £80, although it did not align with the price list. Despite this, I remained hopeful for a good standard of work. The pedicure was average, lacking a massage, and a cheap blue sky shellac was used on my toes instead of the expected gel. During the gel manicure, no prep was done, and the cheap shellac was used again. When I asked about cuticle work, I was told it would cost an additional £10. Feeling deflated, I paid for the treatments but left feeling cheated. After 15+ years of nail care, I have never felt so disappointed. The quality of work was subpar, and I had to pay £45 for "shellac" on natural nails and £10 for cuticle removal that was not done. I am appalled by the service and will have to seek another salon for the treatment I originally wanted.
I am absolutely thrilled with my experience at Angela's salon. Not only were we offered hot drinks, soft drinks, and snacks during our time there, but the quality of my nails surpassed any other salon I've visited. I usually worry about the designs I request, but the staff did an outstanding job! I will definitely return, as I am extremely pleased with the results. The customer service was exceptional!
