Lasting Impressions

Lasting Impressions recently performed some facial waxing and makeup application for me for a special event. The team at the beauty salon is delightful, welcoming, and well-informed. The makeup artist provided valuable advice on colour choices, and I was extremely satisfied with the outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Regrettably, I must rate this establishment with only one star, as zero stars are not an option. Last year, I gifted my mother a voucher for Mother's Day, which she redeemed this month for two treatments. Upon arrival, she was informed that the primary treatment was unavailable. A courtesy call explaining the situation and offering to reschedule would have been appropriate, but unfortunately, this did not occur. The second treatment, an eyebrow wax, resulted in a painful burn and blisters on her eyelid. I was appalled and promptly contacted the salon, leaving a message. They later returned my mother's call, displaying a dismissive and unapologetic attitude, attributing the issue to her "mature skin." While they were likely referring to the skin not being taut enough, it should not have been her responsibility either way. It pains me to leave a negative review, but in this instance, I have no alternative.

Today, I experienced my first hot stone massage at Lasting Impressions, and it was also my first visit to the salon. I was warmly welcomed by a friendly receptionist, and my therapist, Abbie, was equally exceptional. The treatment room provided a serene atmosphere, and the massage was truly enjoyable. I thoroughly relished the experience and would not hesitate to suggest it to others.
