Poorly stocked shelves, many of them empty. The store is in desperate need of a makeover. Parking is extremely limited. The pharmacy was much more conveniently located in the health centre, which has now been closed.
The quality of service at the pharmacy has plummeted. Utterly disorganised, prescriptions going missing, an 8-day wait for them to be filled, and missing items due to lack of shop deliveries. It's a chaotic situation. They've absorbed all the patients from the health centre Boots (which is shutting down), and whatever measures they've taken to accommodate this have clearly failed. The staff are doing their best to be friendly and helpful, but it's a complete shambles.
I've always found the staff here to be very friendly. I travelled 9 miles round trip to purchase hearing aid batteries for my 89-year-old father, only to discover that they no longer stock them since the recent store 'upgrade'. This could have inconvenienced an elderly person who made the journey on foot. It does seem odd for a chemist not to sell hearing aid batteries!
