Unpleasant experience... I conducted thorough research before enrolling in the NVQ Level 2 course. I was informed by the team that it was the best course to take, especially since they were registered with a well-known examination board, which would be more advantageous. As I aspired to open my business and pursue my passion, I signed up for a 6-week nail course. I attended for the full duration, passed my exams, and completed my assessments and coursework by July 2023. I was informed that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to receive my certificates. However, to this day, I have not received them despite numerous follow-ups, only to be given excuses. I lodged a complaint and sought legal advice, discovering that they had acted improperly and I was entitled to a refund. Legal letters were sent, and eventually, I was informed that the company had gone into liquidation and that they could not locate a contract of my enrollment. Fortunately, I had emails and photographs as evidence. After filing my complaint, they found records of my payments and refunded only the course fee, not the additional costs for products, equipment, and my time. Due to the company's liquidation, I was unable to reclaim those expenses. I strongly advise against taking any courses with this company without a signed contract and thorough research. Do not make cash payments; use bank transfers or cards. To be honest, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I feel like I have been fed a story that doesn't add up. Consequently, I wasted my time, effort, and money. I gained nothing from it, unable to work on clients, and now have to undergo retraining. I will not disclose names, but they are aware of their actions, and the individual involved is well-known to the company. Please exercise caution before engaging with them, ensure all agreements are documented and conducted via email. Personally, I would not undertake any courses with them and certainly would not endorse them. I know the examination board is investigating the matter further. They should not be permitted to continue operating. If they have gone into liquidation, why are they still advertising and operating under the same name?
