Eclat Sparkle

I underwent an eyelash perm at Eclat Sparkle last week. I had previously gotten them done elsewhere. The outcome was astonishing, I will certainly be a repeat customer. The salon is delightful, and Charlie was exceptionally amiable. Thank you, Eclat Sparkle.

Scheduled a session for a spray tan for my 18-year-old. We communicated that this was her first time, and we're pretty clueless. Some guidance provided over the phone. We made it clear she did NOT want an orange tint. No inquiries about skin type or confirmation that all deodorants/perfumes had been removed upon arrival for the appointment. The tanning process went smoothly except for the underarms turning green due to leftover deodorant. The following morning, she rinses off the tan only to find it orange, patchy, and clogging every pore on her back. She looked splotchy. I sought advice and received a lot of excuses about not being able to control skin type, and if they had known about her skin condition, they could have applied a primer or something beforehand. We explicitly stated our lack of knowledge, yet they didn't ask any questions. I suggest they conduct a comprehensive consultation, provide the primer, and send out an email detailing preparation and anticipated outcomes. She ended up with the exact orange hue we explicitly wanted to avoid. And the blotchiness was so severe that we had to remove the tan. £25 down the drain.

Having relocated to Chorleywood a year ago I've been on the hunt for a top-notch nail salon, and I'm thrilled to report that I've discovered one! Charlie (owner), Violet, and Willow are the individuals I've encountered so far, incredibly welcoming and skilled. Admire the craftsmanship they displayed on my hands and feet, I'll surely be revisiting for additional treatments. They've made me feel like a regular client from the get-go!
