Visited this morning to have my hair blow-dried for my son's wedding. I requested a straight finish. I was informed that someone had called in sick, but it was fine and my appointment was still on. As soon as she started on my hair, I could tell she wasn't skilled. She just waved the dryer over my hair to flatten it at the roots?? I used to work as a hairdresser, so I know how blowouts should be done, and I've had my hair beautifully straightened many times at other salons... The two "stylists" talked over me and my daughter, and kept leaving to answer the phone (3 times), discussing with other staff about trying to locate Sam's grandma's phone number... This experience cost me £20, and I had to come home and redo my hair myself... I will never return to your salon... the entire experience was a disgrace. I will also be posting this on TripAdvisor and Facebook.
I phoned the salon and inquired if they could squeeze me in for gel nail treatment today (Saturday) and they managed to! (My nails were in a sorry state after a recent visit to another salon). Kayleigh at Kirsha Knowles filed and polished my nails, making them feel much better before applying the gel flawlessly! She's a perfectionist. I also met Kirsha, the owner, who is incredibly friendly. A charming, well-maintained, friendly, and inviting professional salon; I'll definitely return soon and highly recommend it. Reasonable prices too. Thank you, ladies ☺️💅🏻
