Less than a week ago, I had SNS done on my nails here, and already 3 nails have chipped, with the top layer peeling off. £40 down the drain. I won't be coming back.
Regrettably, my experience was unsatisfactory. The Shellac manicure peeled off within 3 days. Even after having one nail redone for free, it peeled off again after 2 days. The colour application seemed excessive and tacky, with a less than ideal shape post-application. The initial clear varnish instead of the proper preparatory product resulted in poor durability. Half of the nails peeled off within 3 weeks, a first for me in other salons. Hygiene standards were also lacking. At £35, I feel deceived by this manicure service. I have no intention of returning.
I'm 8 months pregnant and wanted a treat for my baby shower. So I opted for a pedicure, having my gels soaked off and new ones applied. The hard skin buffing on my feet was satisfactory, but there was no moisturiser or massage included. The toe paint job was subpar, and it felt rushed as the technician had another appointment lined up. Despite being told to return later for the new set of gels, I wasn't overly concerned at that point. However, if the hand paint job was as disappointing as the feet, I would have been very let down. It's a pity, but I won't be returning to this salon.
