I walked in without an appointment. The lady attended to me promptly and efficiently removed the tough gel from my nails. Opted for a simple shellac. Quick and effective service. They accept cash and bank transfers. Recommended if you're in the Hammersmith area. Good variety of colours and designs.
Not recommended for acrylics. I had to guide the lady through the entire process as it wasn't being done correctly, and I wasn't pleased with the final outcome. I even had to request more acrylic at the base because it looked like my nails had been done for a week or two on the first day. There were also clumps of acrylic at the back of the nails. I won't return for nails and will only visit for the eyebrow services here. Not worth the £45 I was charged for acrylics with gel. I'd suggest Princess Nails in Hammersmith for acrylics if you're looking for an alternative nearby.
This was the speediest acrylic full-set I've ever had, in and out within 45 minutes. However, the quality of this manicure was far from desirable. The nail sizes and shapes were uneven, I had to guide the artist on how to make them uniform. I requested almond, but they turned out pointy and claw-like, not the elegant shape I desired. The picture is two days later, no cuticle shaping so it already looks a week old. The paint was sheer and applied poorly, already chipping at the tips. It seems the artist rushed and didn't take the time to do it properly, instead applying too much acrylic and then trying to fix errors, leaving the undersides of my nails bumpy (which keeps catching on my clothes). I'm unsure why there was such a hurry to finish, I arrived when they seemed busy but there was little attention to detail despite the many returning clients around me. No one followed me out and there were plenty of available artists. I don't often get manicures, but when I do, I expect them to be done well. If you want something that looks decent for a few days and speed is your priority, this salon is fine for a quick visit. Otherwise, I suggest going elsewhere for nail services as my experience was disappointing, as were the results.
