It has happened multiple times before, but today's service was just plain arrogant! My GP sent the prescription for my medication, I called twice today with no response, so I went to Boots in Sherburn to ask for my important depression medication. The young lady, a blonde, rudely informed me that they have 48 hours to process it, even though the medicines were in stock. This response was quite disappointing and unprofessional.
Closed on a Sunday! I am extremely frustrated as I suffer from a chronic pain condition and rely on my medication. Sundays are the only day I can go to the pharmacy as I work full time during the week and they are not open when I am available. I couldn't go on Saturday due to childcare, and now I will have to go a full week without my essential prescriptions.
For my initial visit to the Boots in Sherborne, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience - although it wasn't during a busy period. They had all the necessary safety measures in place for COVID-19, such as face masks and social distancing. I happened to go during their lunch break, so I had to wait a bit, but it didn't bother me since it was my first time there. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with, both for me and the others I saw interacting with them. I also took a picture of a flyer promoting mental health awareness, which is crucial during these challenging times.
