I arrived promptly for my 11.30 appointment, the proprietor greeted me and handed over a Covid compliance form to fill out. By 11.40, I was escorted to the hair washing section. Nazia (apologies if the spelling is off) is still in training but regularly sought guidance from Porscha. She took her time prepping my scalp for washing (it was quite dirty) and when it was time for treatment, Porscha took over and assessed my hair follicles, suggesting the most suitable treatment. The drying process, using a cotton cloth (for afro hair), wrapped up around 13.10.

I experienced highly unprofessional conduct during my visit. Despite arriving promptly, I was made to wait without being informed about the 30-minute delay. The stylist continued to work and engage in conversations with another client, occasionally pausing to chat and avoid disruptions from the hairdryer noise. Throughout this time, not a single word was directed towards me, let alone an apology. It was only when I inquired about the wait time, sounding upset, that any attention was given. If you have plenty of time to spare for idle chatter, this establishment might be suitable.
