I requested gel polish. The individual hurried through it, I requested nails to be filed initially, he dismissed me. The colour was hasty and uneven, leaving paint on the skin around my nails. Started filing without inquiring about the shape I desired, filing them down to a square that was very uneven across the nails and likely to chip soon. My friend had the same experience, he was slightly better with her but still displayed poor technique and finish. We had to purchase files to rectify the situation. Discovered that the girl in the establishment we visited also had her nails done there and they had already chipped! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
I opted for French nails at this salon. One nail chipped within 36 hours of getting them done. The salon promptly fixed it. Two more chips on different nails appeared within 5 days of the initial appointment. Once again, the salon gladly repaired them. By day 10, a different nail had chipped, and I am reluctant to return once more. I was informed that the chips may be due to my nails being weak (I have never experienced any chips in all my years of nail appointments) or my nails being short (they were filed short by the salon on the day of the appointment). As a new parent, I certainly do not engage in manual labour. I can only attribute this to a subpar product and/or application.
I always have my nails done here! The team is exceptional and consistently delivers a fantastic result. They offer a wide array of colours to choose from.
