Absolutely delightful and welcoming, scheduled an appointment. Felt completely secure, they check your temperature before entering the premises. Everyone wearing visors and maintaining cleanliness, creating a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. My first hair styling session as a new parent and my initial trim post-lockdown. Felt truly spoiled and well-cared for. I will definitely return, gratitude to The Works 🤩!
The Ritual Barber operates within the same establishment. Definitely worth a visit. Catering to boys and men with cuts, as well as beard grooming. Incredibly friendly, considerate, and always goes the extra mile. Would give more stars if possible but limited to 5.
A truly dreadful experience at this subpar salon. Booked for a wedding hairstyle - ended up with an inexperienced stylist who couldn't even manage a simple bun. She abandoned my hair halfway through, leading to someone else hastily fixing it. The poorly done bun fell apart, ruining my special event. Despite this, I still paid! When I raised my concerns to the inadequate manager Louise, she refunded me and offered a complimentary wash and blow-dry. I scheduled and then had to cancel due to contracting COVID-19. Upon trying to reschedule, the unprofessional staff referred to me as the "bun lady" on the phone, and Louise insisted I now pay since I missed the appointment, which I clarified was a cancellation, not a no-show. The most disorganised, unwelcoming, and overpriced 'salon'. Never encountered such abysmal customer service. It's no wonder the staff's performance is lacking, given the manager's attitude.
