After a long time, I decided to have a waxing session as I always find it painful. However, the therapist, named Ranya, made me feel comfortable and was highly professional. She used a combination of hot wax and strip wax, and surprisingly, it was the first time it didn't hurt. I highly recommend Skin and Tonic for wax treatments.
Managed to secure a last-minute appointment on a weekday for a pedicure. Overall, the service was good. Just be aware that if you arrive early, you may have to wait outside the door if the therapists are occupied in the treatment rooms. I paid £35 for shellac removal and the pedicure, which I found to be reasonably priced. Booking directly with the salon may be slightly cheaper than using Treatwell. I've had better luck with direct bookings rather than through Treatwell. The only downside was the limited selection of neutral nail colours available.
Arrived for my appointment only to find the salon closed, with the lights off and the sign taken inside. I waited outside for 15 minutes, knocking on the door and trying to call the salon. Eventually, I had to return home. The therapist claimed she was in the bathroom at the time, but they are now refusing to issue a refund, which I find very disappointing. I will have to reach out to Treatwell for assistance.
