Painswick Retirement Village, Stroud Rd
A charming location, with all the personnel we encountered being exceptionally friendly and accommodating. However, our visit to the spa for a Christmas treat was a bit marred. The receptionist was handling things solo, resulting in us having treatments at separate times, which was not ideal. The treatment itself was enjoyable, using high-quality oils and provided by a kind and considerate masseuse. Unfortunately, the rooms and pool were too chilly, diminishing our enjoyment. Despite pre-booking, our afternoon tea seemed to have been forgotten, and we received a hastily put-together meal with a choice of salmon or canned ham sandwiches, a detail that would deter me from returning.Richmond Villages Painswick Wellness Spa is open in Monday: 7:30-20:00 Tuesday: 7:30-20:00 Wednesday: 7:30-18:00 Thursday: 7:30-18:00 Friday: 7:30-18:00 Saturday: 9:00-17:00 Sunday: 9:00-17:00
