Arranging a spa day at Bannatyne through a voucher was simple. The venue and treatment rooms provided a pleasant setting for a positive experience. However, I refrain from giving a full 5 stars due to a few reasons. Additional charges, like a £10 deposit and £8 gown hire, felt unnecessary and slightly inconvenient. The lively atmosphere in the pool area affected the relaxation I sought. Despite enjoyable treatments, I chose to leave rather than return to the bustling pool area. Parking near Brindley Place was pricey even with a discount, costing £2.50 per hour, resulting in a total of £10 for parking.
Visited this spa for a day of treatments. The establishment was clean and peaceful before 4 pm. The facilities were well-maintained, and the massages were satisfactory. I would consider returning if there were any special offers available.
PureGym is like a shiny version of itself. At first glance, it may seem decent, but a closer look reveals it's far from premium. The lack of respect from users, untidiness, and absence of attentive staff make it less than desirable. With only one squat rack, sharing equipment can be challenging. Adverts blaring from broken speakers give off a budget gym vibe. While it may suit cardio enthusiasts, those interested in free weights may struggle. My contract can't end soon enough.
