Tan is truly exceptional. She meticulously worked on both my hands and feet, ensuring they were flawless. Her welcoming and friendly nature provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
If it were possible, I would refrain from awarding any stars. The service I received from the individual who did my nails was highly unprofessional. I was preparing for a trip on Monday, having worked throughout the weekend and lacking time to visit my usual nail salon. After a quick search for a nail salon open on a Sunday, I found this establishment. The technician, the only person wearing glasses in the shop, took over 2 hours to complete my nails. She frequently paused, scratched her eyes and skin, made hot drinks, and sat back with watery eyes, delaying the process. The quality of the nail painting on my hands resembled the work of a young child - thick and bulky. Disappointed with the outcome, I declined having my toes done after that experience. Although this incident occurred a couple of months ago, it has been bothering me, prompting me to leave this feedback. I have no intentions of returning. However, it may be a suitable local nail shop for some individuals.
If there were no stars to give, I would certainly award this establishment just that! I noticed they were operating on Sundays. I called at 11 am and managed to secure an appointment for 12:30 for a treatment on my feet and nails. Upon arrival, I found no signage indicating the location. After a phone call to inquire about the exact whereabouts, I was informed that they had just sent a text message changing the appointment to 1 pm. Despite this inconvenience, I agreed but mentioned that I could only have my nails done as I needed to return by 1:30. I had already paid £40 for a carer to attend to my Mum from 12:15. I waited until 1 pm, then called again to ask about the nail salon's location, only to be told that the technician was on her way back from the nail suppliers and would arrive around 1:15. Feeling frustrated after being let down twice and incurring extra costs for the carer, I reiterated that my message clearly stated my time constraints. I expressed my disappointment in the poor service and lack of communication. The response I received was that the technician was busy and had not cancelled the appointment. Despite everyone being busy, it cost me £40 in carer fees. One would expect a nail salon to ensure they have adequate supplies and stock before scheduling appointments, especially when time constraints were communicated. I was initially flexible and waited patiently, but I will now avoid this establishment. I would rather put up with broken nails than return. I will return to Sutton Nails, where the service is always courteous, prompt, and at the same price.
