Upon arriving for my spa appointment, I was pleased to find ample parking available. However, the experience quickly soured when I was informed that I needed to hire towels and a robe, despite only booking a massage. The receptionist was quite rude and dismissive when I questioned this requirement. There was also confusion regarding my appointment time, with the staff insisting it was different from what I had booked. The relaxation room was not very comfortable, with worn-out loungers. The massage itself was decent, but the overall experience was marred by the lack of professionalism and focus on sales rather than customer satisfaction. I will not be returning to this establishment.
This place falls short of being a true spa day experience. It feels more like a standard leisure centre with a treatment room. The massages we received were quite rough and left us feeling sore. My friend's treatment request was disregarded by the masseuse, who claimed to know better. The spa was overcrowded, with one jacuzzi out of order, leading to long queues for the operational one. The swimming pool was packed with various activities, making it difficult to swim, and there were only two loungers available. On top of all this, we had to pay £8 for towel and flip-flops. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and we have no plans to return.
The spa facilities are top-notch, with a lovely swimming pool area that includes sauna and steam rooms. Additionally, there are two jacuzzis available for relaxation. A convenient towel storage area is provided for poolside use. The gym is well-equipped with various fitness machines, and group classes are held in two studios. Guests can also enjoy a range of spa treatments and visit the on-site hair salon. The changing rooms and showers are kept clean and tidy.
