Genuine feedback - I'm not someone who enjoys getting my hair done. Especially since I've had a hair crisis. After having kids and little time for self-care, I finally took the plunge and booked an appointment. I was very self-conscious about my hair condition before I entered (damaged, box-dyed, poorly cut, split ends... The list goes on) but I sat down and braced myself for the assessment. To my surprise, I was reassured about my hair. They explained what needed to be done but also considered my preferences. I've always wanted to find a salon to become my regular go-to place but never succeeded... until now. They truly value mental well-being and efficient time management. I was kept informed throughout and left feeling very confident. I've already scheduled two more appointments after just one visit. Thank you for personalizing my experience. How can i get there
To reach Abbie’s Hair Studio at 7 Suttons Ln, Hornchurch RM12 6RD, United Kingdom by public transport, take bus number 370 from Hornchurch Station towards Lakeside and get off at the Hornchurch Police Station stop. Then, walk south on Suttons Lane for about 3 minutes to reach the salon. If driving, head east on High Street towards North Street, turn left onto North Street, then right onto Suttons Lane where you will find Abbie’s Hair Studio on your left after passing the Hornchurch Police Station.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I booked a "Festival hair" appointment for 2 French braids at the back and 2 buns on top (I checked beforehand if they could do this style, they said yes). Once seated, the stylist struggled with the braids, so I suggested doing them on top instead, to which she agreed. After struggling with the top braids, she only managed to do one messy braid. I told her to forget it and just do the buns... after another 20 minutes, all she did was tie my hair in pigtails and brush them!! She even attempted to use hair donuts for the buns, but couldn't get it right. She then tried to backcomb the pigtails and curl the hair back up, which looked absurd. After sitting for about 45 minutes, I had enough and left. We scheduled a private appointment for my son who is non-verbal and autistic, making haircuts a challenge for him. Upon entering, he was calm and intrigued by the colourful decor. I felt quite anxious walking into the salon for the first time as I have been having my hair trimmed by a relative for years. Laura was wonderful! She styled my hair just as I had requested. I will certainly return.
