Honesty and clear communication are essential in providing a satisfactory service. I am relieved I did not proceed with the appointment, as the atmosphere in your salon was unpleasant.
I had a dreadful experience today with my young son at the salon. The stylist, Sam, agreed over the phone to do a haircut and Keratin treatment for me, knowing I had my child with me. However, upon arrival, she asked me to brush my son's hair myself while she attended to another customer. She initially quoted £10 for the haircut but charged me £15, citing layers as the reason. I usually pay £10 for the same style with a blow dry at my regular salon, but I wanted to give her a chance since she was local. To top it off, she lied to me about her availability for the Keratin treatment, claiming she had another appointment even though she had agreed to it over the phone. This unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable, and I will not be returning or recommending her services to anyone. My advice to Sam is to be honest and reliable in your commitments.
