This particular Superdrug is my go-to spot for shopping. However, on both occasions I've visited, I've encountered discourteous treatment from the cashier and other staff members. They seem aloof and uninterested in providing good service, especially the lady behind the counter. There is a lack of basic politeness and no effort to greet customers. The cashier's behaviour is particularly off-putting, displaying a lack of customer service skills and a tendency to be judgmental and impolite. It appears that she lacks enthusiasm for her role. I have decided not to patronise this store again until the staff improve their work ethic, as their conduct does not reflect well on Superdrug.
Today I popped into the Wanstead store, where a gentleman was stationed at the entrance. He accused me of damaging a product, but I insisted I did not. When I requested to review the security footage to prove my innocence, he refused to check. His attitude towards me was extremely unpleasant. The lady at the checkout, on the other hand, displayed cunning behaviour by swapping the damaged product for a new one. Even when the manager was called, no action was taken. It appears that the gentleman is inclined to continue selling the damaged goods. I left the store feeling deeply disappointed with the service. Customer satisfaction should be paramount.
I visited this store a few days ago and was warmly welcomed by the gentleman at the entrance and the lady at the checkout. Both of them provided excellent service to me and my spouse. They were incredibly kind and managed to bring a smile to my face. I am looking forward to returning soon (:
