Mantra2 Tattoo Studio

I journey over an hour each time I come to this studio. I take TWO TRAINS just to have a specific artist (Clara). I always felt at ease with her and thought she was exceptional. However, today I received the worst customer service ever. My appointment was scheduled for two o'clock but I wasn't attended to until nearly 3 o'clock. I remained patient and calm. Then, a man (another artist, very rude individual) abruptly entered the room while I was getting tattooed (which was highly inappropriate as I could have been undressed!!). He interfered and instructed the artist working on me to do something different (which was not what I requested). How dare you rudely imply that I shouldn't get a tattoo if I'm unsure, as if I were a child or had travelled for no reason. I left the studio and returned after having a breakdown and crying. I gave the tattoo artist another chance by returning, only to be told she didn't want to continue due to time constraints. Time...? You were already late to begin with!! After I returned, you consulted the same man who upset me and then decided you didn't want to tattoo me. I had planned to get 6 more tattoos done here over the next few months, as well as 2 piercings. BUT I WILL NEVER RETURN! I am deeply disappointed, Clara. You should have firmly told the other man not to intervene and should have spoken to me with respect!! It's such a shame, you're the same person who wasted my time by printing designs too large when I had already specified the size I wanted. You printed three different designs and applied stencils four times, only to remove them because you struggled with positioning the lips. How is that my fault? If I'm paying for a tattoo, it should be done the way I want. Clearly, you didn't want to tattoo me from the start due to the positioning challenges, as at one point you even suggested, "just do the music symbols and come back another time," to which I refused. I wanted everything done perfectly and on the same day! If you lack patience, you shouldn't be a tattoo artist. A day that was already bad for me was made worse by you all. I came to get inked to boost my spirits, not to end up in tears!!

This studio is fantastic, and I adore it. I always leave feeling cheerful and more self-assured than when I arrived. The piercer is a delightful lady, very skilled, and always checks in with "are you okay?" which I appreciate greatly. I've had my snug, anti-eyebrow, and septum piercings done by the same lady, and she has done an exceptional job. It makes me want to return for more, even though I keep telling myself I'm done with piercings haha. Keep up the fantastic work x

The staff here are so welcoming and professional. Sarah did my tattoo and I couldn't be happier with the result. One small suggestion would be to provide a sample of the appropriate cream as I've experienced in other places.
