Last weekend, I availed myself of a prenatal relaxation session at the clinic, and it was truly delightful!
Not up to par. Scheduled a platinum exfoliation session on a platform and received a morning call informing me that the service couldn't be provided as no qualified personnel were available that day. I opted for a thorough cleansing treatment on the same day. The online booking was cancelled, requiring payment directly at the establishment, hence I am unable to post this review on the platform. The treatment chamber is overly illuminated with an uncomfortable bed and limited storage space. It was evident that this room is not typically used for facials due to inadequate equipment. The facial practitioner lacked proper training, resulting in a superficial treatment with minimal product application. The entire procedure was conducted with gloves, creating a clinical rather than relaxing ambiance. Language proficiency was lacking, which although did not bother me, could be viewed negatively as clear communication is vital during treatments. Overall, the experience felt rushed, awkward, and subpar. Within the initial ten minutes, the receptionist interrupted to inquire about music preferences, displaying unprofessionalism. She frequently entered the room, disrupting the session with the facialist. The treatment lacked relaxation due to excessive chatter and interruptions from advertisements in the background – a laughable and absurd situation. Upon completion of the treatment, I approached the reception area (where a used tissue was carelessly left on the counter) and expressed my dissatisfaction with the unprofessionalism and lack of value for the £80 paid. The manager, briefed by the receptionist in a foreign language, offered a reduced rate of £50. Despite this, I should have negotiated a larger discount as the service remained unsatisfactory. The manager's apology was insincere, accompanied by a dismissive chuckle. This entire encounter exudes unprofessionalism and cheap service. I strongly advise against patronising this establishment; it was the most disappointing facial experience I have ever endured.
