They were once exceptional, but unfortunately, the previous staff members have departed, leaving the new employees (perhaps trainees?) lacking in language proficiency and confidence. This deficiency reflects in the overall communication and service quality. As a loyal customer, I anticipate more from a renowned salon, especially given the price tag (I pay less for a pedicure in Mayfair). Simple gestures such as offering a cup of tea, a smile, or incorporating polite phrases like "please" and "would you like" could greatly enhance the experience. I am somewhat disappointed with the overall service, but I remain hopeful that these issues can be addressed. If improvements are made, I would gladly return.
Inna performs an exceptional job on my nails, displaying meticulous attention to detail. I willingly embark on the 36-mile round trip to the salon just to see her. Hailing from Ukraine, her English skills are quite good, although she occasionally faces confusion. Often working solo, she not only fulfills her duties but also handles inquiries, which seems unjust. I've rated the salon 3 stars due to its premium pricing, which would typically imply a luxurious experience. However, the establishment is excessively dusty, with filthy floors and furnishings. The seating is hard and uncomfortable, and the salon itself feels cold. Inna tries to remedy this by using a heater, but it only stirs up more dust, causing issues with my wet nails. Consequently, my visit extended to nearly 3 hours. The dust also caused discomfort in the throat and nose. I believe a receptionist could alleviate Inna's burden by managing inquiries and cleaning during quieter periods. This would allow her to focus on her craft without frustration. Despite the salon's website promising excellent service, hygiene, beverages, and a warm atmosphere, the reality falls short. It appears that the owner has lost interest in maintaining the salon to its former standards.
