I had a laser tattoo removal session at this establishment some time ago and unfortunately, it was a deeply distressing experience that left me in tears on the day and for weeks after. I have been hesitant to leave a review for this local small business, especially after seeing the responses to other reviews, but I strongly believe that they lack the necessary experience and training to offer this service. I would advise anyone considering tattoo removal to seek out a specialist in laser treatments. On the day my skin turned blue, the owner, who had not undergone the required training, could not explain what had happened, and the beautician performing the treatment was so inexperienced that she simply left the room, leaving me upset. I was informed that they needed to consult their training provider and machine supplier for guidance but received no further assistance. I had to follow up with them multiple times as they did not reach out to me or provide updates, and at one point, I was told to stop emailing them because "they are a very busy salon." It took nearly three months for my skin to recover from the damage, and I was advised to seek legal counsel. After consulting with three laser technicians in the UK and providing them with the settings used, which I obtained from Sparx, all three confirmed that incorrect settings had been applied. When I shared this information with Sparx, I received a generic response from an American website about the unpredictability of removal. While I understand that there are risks associated with tattoo removal and that it may not always be straightforward, the handling of my entire experience was extremely poor, and I was left devastated. I must mention that Abbey, whom I initially met, was lovely, but she did not perform the treatment in question. My feedback is based on my personal experience, and I believe that this treatment is too complex and risky to be performed by individuals with minimal training who cannot provide adequate answers and need to seek external advice. It was a lesson learned for me, and I regret not conducting further research. I sincerely hope this treatment is removed from their menu.
