I have visited this salon several times for a bouncy blow dry, which I have always been satisfied with. However, yesterday my sister and I went in, and both members of staff seemed unsure of what they were doing. The male stylist I had was pleasant but ended up blow-drying my hair straight and then attempting to create bounce, which was unsuccessful. He also used ghd's, which ended up singeing my hair. Unfortunately, my hair lost its bounce within an hour, making it a complete waste of money.
I apologize for the negative feedback. I have been a regular at this salon since it opened, but I will now start exploring other options for my haircuts. While this place used to be fantastic and always bustling, I find that the quality of the haircut you receive is a gamble depending on the stylist you get. There are about 3 or 4 people who provide good service; if you end up with someone else, it's risky. My recent experience was with a seemingly inexperienced stylist who kept asking if everything was okay every minute. The haircut turned out uneven with a lump at the back, which is not the first time unfortunately. I will likely try another salon. If I happen to see the skilled staff working, I might consider returning.
