Took my 9yr old granddaughter to the family pool today, she had a blast. Friendly staff, attentive lifeguard, and comfortable water temperature. Disappointed the outside pool area was shut on a sunny July day! However, the changing room reeked of stale urine. The scorching hot water made the shower unusable, and the cubicle felt stifling and cramped. Had to leave un-showered. Discovered the communal shower later, much better.
The swimming teachers are excellent, but the changing facilities in the swimming area are a letdown. Weekly stench of urine, and last time, a hint of poo. Poo fragments on a bench in one changing room. Disgusting!
The changing rooms have an unpleasant odour. Counter staff said they'd open at 6 midweek, but arrived early to find them closed. Typical E.A service.
