The Beauty Shed is the ultimate beauty destination for all your needs. I've been to many beauty salons, but ever since I found The Beauty Shed, I haven't looked back. You're treated like a friend, not just a customer. The staff is incredible - so caring and friendly. Alison is my go-to for most treatments, and she is absolutely amazing. My nails always look stunning, and I receive compliments on them daily. She's not just a nail technician; she's an artist and a perfectionist. She's always open to trying new ideas. I highly recommend The Beauty Shed. Visit and see for yourself. You'll never regret it and you'll never want to go anywhere else. Thank you all. Sophie xx
I don't usually leave negative reviews as I'm quite busy, and I believe that places with poor service will be found out without my input. However, due to the positive reviews of this salon, I feel compelled to share my awful experience so that people can make a more informed decision. On 7th September, I had a Manicure and Pedicure for £50 with Aimee. When I arrived, I requested a 'French Manicure,' but due to the unavailability of the base colour I wanted, I had to settle for a different shade. For the pedicure, I asked for the same colour as my fingernails, but I was told I hadn't booked for nail art and could only have one colour. I was disappointed as I was going to France the next day and wanted my nails to look nice for the trip. The owner, Luccie, stated loudly that I hadn't booked a 'luxury manicure,' which she considered the French Polish to be. I was not informed of these restrictions when booking, and I felt let down. While I was getting my pedicure, a lady and her daughters walked in without appointments, and Luccie accommodated them but not my request. My nails didn't last long after the treatment, and they became weak and started splitting. I will not be returning to this salon and cannot recommend it.
I always receive exceptional service from the staff here! Their manicures are top-notch and durable even with my busy job as a nurse! I've also tried eyelash lifts and tints a few times, and once I cheekily asked if I could get my eyebrows waxed during my appointment, and Aimee happily obliged. Anna-Leigh is a fantastic nail technician who puts a lot of effort and care into my nails, and all the waxing services are excellent. Since moving to the area, I was hesitant to try a new salon, but now I recommend this place to everyone. They always go above and beyond.
