I made a reservation for a pedicure at 11.45am today. I arrived punctually and was asked to take a seat. By 12, I was seated with my feet soaking in water. The technician then proceeded to attend to a new client's nails without acknowledging me. At 12.15pm, I inquired when someone would begin my pedicure. (there were 3 employees present) I was informed it would be 2 minutes. There was no apology for the delay or explanation. By 12.30pm, I opted to leave. I understand that delays can occur, but there was no point at which an apology or explanation was offered. They have permanently lost my patronage.
I adore this spot. My nails always turn out beautifully and the team are incredibly welcoming. I had been unable to have acrylics for a long period due to an allergy to the chemicals used, but Lily was able to suggest an alternative product that is just perfect. They also do fantastic pedicures.
I wouldn't suggest this establishment. Following my pedicure and manicure, I noticed that the corners of my toenails were not trimmed or cleaned, the dead skin around my toes was left unattended, and I had to request for it to be addressed, the nail polish was applied so thickly that it appeared lumpy and bumpy. My little toe was only half-painted, and when I requested a correction, it was layered on too thickly. I paid £80, and I am displeased with the appearance of my toes. Unfortunately, it was a poor job and a terrible experience.
