The Employees are truly exceptional! Undoubtedly the highlight of the gym. Regrettably, the amenities such as showers, changing rooms, and spin bikes are in need of refurbishment. The facilities at the sands centre surpass them, and the pricing is quite competitive. It is advisable to explore both options before deciding which gym to join.
Think of Bannatyne as the EasyJet of spas. Known for subpar customer service and always on the lookout for ways to charge you extra. We informed them we would be 10 minutes late due to traffic. The receptionist initially agreed, with the condition that it would cut into our treatment time. We agreed. However, upon arrival, they backtracked and hesitated to accommodate us for the treatment. Moreover, they misled us into thinking we could reschedule for another day, which the manager later denied. This further wasted the time we could have spent on the treatment. What was initially a 10-minute delay resulted in us missing out on the entire treatment experience. Overall, they showed a lack of willingness to assist. Given their line of work is to help you unwind, this demonstrates their ineptitude in fulfilling that purpose.
