Upon requesting a fix, I was told the salon manager was away from Edinburgh and would be back on Monday, but no follow-up was made. When I managed to reach the manager later, they questioned the validity of my visit, cast doubt on the accuracy of my haircut photo, and displayed a lack of professionalism. The haircut was merely 'alright' and it felt quite hurried, definitely not personalised for me. I requested a specific style but was met with a dismissive response of ''yeah yeah yeah, that's fine, yeah yeah yeah''. The barber proceeded with a generic fade cut and disregarded the details I asked for or the shape of my head. He also spun me around in the chair throughout the cut so he wouldn't have to move much, preventing me from seeing the progress in the mirror! Upon completion, he didn't bother showing me the back to check if I was satisfied, simply removed the cape and ushered me out. Furthermore, he engaged in constant conversation with others in his language, causing me anxiety as I felt neglected. The entire process lasted a mere 13 minutes, my hair surely deserved more attention especially for the price I paid. If you seek a well-crafted haircut tailored to your needs, AVOID THIS BARBER! Save your money. Highly mediocre.
