I simply wished to remove my gel nail polish. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was attended to by a rather grumpy individual. He proceeded to switch the drill head to the harshest one, excessively sanding my nails beyond the gel. After a lacklustre application of acetone for about a minute, he attempted to further sand down my nails, prompting me to intervene. He haphazardly buffed my nails, neglected to shape them, and applied a drop of oil which he instructed me to wash off immediately, declaring the service complete. My nails were uneven, rough, and sensitive, yet he insisted on charging me £15, citing it as a 'treatment'.
