This hair salon was recommended to me by a friend, so I made an appointment for a simple cut and finish. Interestingly, I wasn't seated in the styling chair until about 15 to 20 minutes after my scheduled time. After the hair wash, I was directed to sit back down on my own and found another customer in the chair. He inquired if he was in my spot, and I replied uncertainly. At that moment, another stylist called out for me to take a different seat across the salon. It was quite awkward. When my stylist returned, I explained that I wanted some length taken off the ends and some framing around my face. She mentioned she would start with longer bangs and adjust them if needed. However, she cut them quite short right away. Although I didn't mind as they didn't look bad, I would have preferred them slightly longer given the choice. I'm unsure if she was rushing due to the next client waiting in the salon, as our appointment ran over since I wasn't seated promptly. She styled my hair curly, and over the following week, I had to wear my hair up for work every day. When I straightened it for a family gathering, my whole family pointed out that my hair wasn't cut evenly - the left side was slightly longer than the right, and there were some strands left longer than the rest, mostly on the right side in the photo. It was an awkward and embarrassing experience from start to finish. I'm hesitant to give this a one-star rating because the stylist was genuinely lovely, but the service for £42 just wasn't up to par. Disappointed :(

Impeccable service. I visited for a cut and finish, which was quite basic as I'm growing out my hair. Georgie suggested a semi-colour treatment to enhance the shine, and what was meant to be a simple trim turned out to be very chic and fresh. Definitely worth the extra cost. Archie was a delight to converse with - engaging and clearly passionate about the salon and his craft. Remarkably mature and confident for a 17-year-old. The welcoming atmosphere was lovely, relaxed, and non-judgmental, which, let's be honest, some salons often lack. X

Every couple of months, I call to schedule an appointment to have my fringe trimmed. Each time, I am spoken to so courteously on the phone and given a date and time within 48 hours. A delightful young lady named Georgia greets and treats me no differently than a customer paying £100. She cuts my fringe exactly how I like it (I'm very particular about my fringe!) and never charges me. Previously, I've been asked to pay £1 or £1.50 at other salons, including one where I had been getting my cut and colour done for over 10 years. So, a big 'Thank you' for that 5-minute trim - it means a lot 🤗
