I highly recommend attending training at UK Institute! I thoroughly enjoyed my two courses (eyebrow shaping and eyelash extensions) and Maria, our tutor, was so kind and knowledgeable there wasn’t a question she didn’t answer or help me with! Henry and David are also extremely helpful with any questions/queries I’ve had after the course! Can’t wait to continue my learning, will definitely be returning for more courses!
I completed my training here in 2019, then we entered a period of lockdown post-course, which was for permanent makeup, leading to a loss of my confidence. However, for a nominal fee, I returned for a refresher course. David has been exceptionally helpful in ensuring my certification was processed and sent out to me promptly. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend UK Institute.
All I want to say is that the gentlemen are wonderful BUT 1. The location where the practical sessions take place is not easily found on online maps so I will leave my feedback here. And 2. When I attempted to contact via WhatsApp some time ago, I was consistently ignored and even left on read multiple times, so it's not like the individual did not have the time to at least read the messages: I underwent a microblading session, performed by a trainee, and by the 4th day, the brows had completely faded, and I mean completely - not a single trace left. I then requested a refund, but after much discussion, they offered to redo the procedure (at no charge). I must highlight that I find it perplexing how something meant to last around two years vanished in just 4 days. So, I went for another session where we opted for a darker and more intense look, once again the brows looked stunning initially. Yet, here we are again on day 4 and the microblading has completely disappeared from my face, believe it or not, entirely gone. Moreover, despite following their aftercare instructions diligently, the outcome remains the same. I lack the time to engage in further WhatsApp conversations or make calls only to be disregarded, hence I leave this feedback here. All I want to express is that even if I had opted for semi-permanent makeup elsewhere, it would have lasted longer. I am unsure if this is meant to be humorous, but jesting about this is NOT AMUSING. Therefore, please refrain from suggesting a "top-up" as I previously mentioned in WhatsApp: what exactly would you top up when there is nothing remaining?
