Having my nails redone for the past 15 years, this recent experience was by far the worst. One nail broke just a day after, and within 10 days, 3 out of 4 nails had chipped. In all my previous nail salons, I never had a single nail break within 4-5 weeks. The service was rushed as they did my "infill + shellac" and "Pedicure + shellac" within just 1 hour and 10 minutes! How can such poor quality work be acceptable? A proper pedicure should take at least an hour of dedicated care. During my initial visit to this spa in early December for a "Classic Pedicure," the cost of Shellac nail polish removal and reapplication was included in the overall price (£50.00). On my return for a second appointment for the same treatment, I opted not to have polish reapplied, yet I was unexpectedly charged extra for the removal at the start of the session. Having had my nails done in various locations worldwide, I have never encountered a situation where polish removal was an additional cost during a pedicure. A truly dreadful experience - I left my appointment with my nails in ruins after requesting a Shellac removal and simple manicure. The technician, in an attempt to speed up the removal process, buffed my nails so vigorously that she left permanent marks. I departed with deep scratches on my nails that have now become incredibly sensitive. At one point, I informed her that she was causing me pain, but she continued to buff with annoyance. Despite my repeated attempts to convey my dissatisfaction, nothing changed.
