I used to fret over my hair type and cuts until I discovered Greema Salon - hands down the best hair salon experience I've had in the United Kingdom. Along with a fantastic haircut, I indulged in nail art, facials, threading, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. The team at Greema made me feel so comfortable and pampered that now I can't resist visiting the salon frequently. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. A big thank you to Seema and the entire team for making my day so special. 💅🏻💇♀️
Avoid at all costs. The lack of professionalism was evident from all angles. Despite having a booked appointment, I found myself waiting with bleach in my hair as they entertained walk-ins. The individual who styled my hair left it half-damp, while another stylist engaged in a public argument with a colleague. A woman in a headscarf was getting a haircut, and a male staff member was aimlessly wandering around. To top it off, another customer's hair began breaking due to the bleach, and the staff dismissed it as normal. The pricing discrepancy between what was quoted over the phone and what was charged was also frustrating.
I scheduled a Swedish massage through Treatwell, but as another reviewer mentioned, it was far from a genuine Swedish massage experience. It felt more like someone just applying oil to my body, leaving me far from relaxed or rejuvenated as one would expect after a massage. The overall ambiance was disappointing, with an unkempt room featuring an open supply closet that the massage table faced. Instead of a proper headrest, an airline pillow was provided, causing discomfort with my head pressed against a questionably clean towel. The lack of fresh towels was noticeable, and at one point, I was handed a blanket to shield myself from the unsavoury supply closet, which didn't seem hygienic. The oil used wasn't explained and was simply presented in a bowl. Midway through the massage, another staff member barged in, noisily rummaging through the supply closet and scolding the initial masseuse before abruptly leaving - hardly a relaxing experience. For the price charged, one can find much better massage services elsewhere that offer a more luxurious setting, soothing lighting, the option to choose essential oils, and leave you feeling truly pampered and at ease. While they may excel in other treatments, I wouldn't recommend this place for a massage.
