Pretty Nails

A truly dreadful experience - I left my appointment with my nails in ruins after requesting a Shellac removal and simple manicure. The technician, in an attempt to speed up the removal process, buffed my nails so vigorously that she left permanent marks. I departed with deep scratches on my nails that have now become incredibly sensitive. At one point, I informed her that she was causing me pain, but she continued to buff with annoyance. Despite my repeated attempts to convey my dissatisfaction, nothing changed. The technician's behaviour was extremely rude, prompting the manager to intervene in an effort to rectify the situation (though my nails are already damaged and will take 4 weeks to fully recover).

While on a break and in need of urgent nail care, I visited the salon on a Sunday morning and received prompt and excellent service, along with a wonderful manicure. The establishment was delightful and impeccably clean. I will definitely return before continuing on my journey.

Without a doubt, the most horrendous experience of my life - what a place, what service! I am left utterly speechless. I never anticipated such an ordeal in the heart of London; I am astounded that this establishment is still operational. Every nail was shaped unevenly despite my clear instructions, and the technician proceeded aggressively, disregarding the reference image I provided. The manner in which questions were posed and actions carried out was utterly disrespectful, resulting in multiple instances of nail damage until I had to demand she cease. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere was unwelcoming and hostile, as if I had somehow offended them. The incessant chatter and gossip in a foreign language only added to the unpleasant experience. A salon should be a haven for relaxation and tranquillity, yet this place was the complete opposite. After an hour, my nails remained unfinished as I had to depart swiftly to escape this nightmare.
