I utilise both the opticians and the hearing clinic here and the team on the ground are outstanding in every aspect, even when things don't go smoothly. The problem I face is that nobody ever picks up the phone at Boots. I have spent days attempting to speak to a person, the phones simply ring out with no answering service to even leave a message. After trying all morning without success, I now have to drive there and converse with them! So exasperating!
Attempting to call around to save fuel have tried all day on/off between shifts. Never any response and struggling to obtain my prescription these are the sole ones out of 7 that do not respond and are the least occupied out of all I frequent. Visited the store, called the phone & it had undoubtedly been ringing all day & being disregarded by impolite staff they are.
APPALLINGLY POOR! Unable to even answer a call! The same old excuses, too busy perhaps? When? I've never witnessed it! Quite disappointing for a chemist being the first point for medical assistance and guidance - they can't even pick up the phone, the queue usually 10 deep. This establishment has plummeted drastically since Brexit and lockdown. Items cheaper absolutely EVERYWHERE else. Service a disaster - visited one day for a beauty product, oh my! No one available to sell costly cosmetics! They were all gathered in groups near the self-service checkouts. A disgrace, a patient could perish while waiting for this bunch to answer a call.
