I was thrilled to visit this nail salon after hearing such great reviews. However, my experience was marred by the unfriendly attitude of the attendant right from the start.
This was my first time trying the BIAB treatment, and I was unclear about the process. When I inquired, the attendant either seemed unwilling to explain or was unsure themselves.
I had a specific design in mind, but I ended up with something completely different because the attendant was unsure how to do the second line of the French manicure.
Only a week has passed since my visit, and the polish is already chipping.
I spent 40 pounds on a service that didn't even last a week. I've attached some photos for comparison; what I wanted versus what I received. I selected this salon as it's near my office. However, the manicure I received was the worst I've ever had. The skin around my nails is ragged, and some cuticle remains on the nail. Despite the high cost, the nails started peeling after just three days, the coats were thick, lengths were inconsistent despite my request, and some nails were filed down so short that it caused ingrown nails twice. My only suggestion would be that the prices are slightly higher compared to other salons of similar quality. On this particular day, a male staff member was managing the reception area. Upon arrival, I was asked to wait, which I did for over 15 minutes. When I inquired about the delay, I received vague responses and was made to wait even longer. Feeling frustrated by the lack of professionalism and disorganization, I decided to leave. The male staff member with glasses seemed unwelcoming and ill-prepared for his role. This was a stark contrast to my previous visits when a female staff member ran the place with friendliness and professionalism.
