Update: My previous feedback was from a year ago, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. During my most recent visit, I was met with significant changes in the salon. Unfortunately, the haircut I received was subpar. I now sport an unflattering fringe that I've never had, not even when attempting to trim it myself at home. I’m really disappointed with the service I received here. I came into the salon to simply get my hair tied up as I had an event later that day and I’ve got a disability so I can’t do it myself. For something that would’ve simply taken 5 minutes, it was made into an hour and a half’s procedure. Everything that I requested not to happen, did happen. I asked the hairdresser not to use spray as I’d just washed my hair and he used it, and it left crusty/sticky residue in my hair. We came to take my hair out later and it had been tied in a knot and was matted, it has completely wrecked the ends of my hair. He said he wanted to cut my hair and I said no, and luckily he listened to that request as all others had been ignored. I came to pay, as I was expecting to have to pay a small fee for just putting it in a ponytail. I was charged £20 for having it be put in a half up half down, something that anybody could’ve done and the hairdresser said that this “was a discount”. I spoke to friends to receive advice later that day and they said that I’d been taken advantage of because of my disability. I attempted to contact both parties via phone, text, and email but no one was willing to assist me in getting my refund back...My advice to everyone is to not switch hairstylists on a whim! and carefully inspect any new venue you plan to visit before selecting your next experience...About
