I recently experienced my first haircut and styling by Dimitra, and I must say, I was absolutely thrilled with the results. The length of the cut is just right, and it still looks fantastic even after washing it for the first time. It's wonderful to have a stylish hairdo that requires minimal effort to maintain. Dimitra also shared some valuable styling tips with me, including recommending a blowout spray that works wonders on my straight hair. Overall, I would rate my experience a perfect 10 out of 10. Yuki, a delightful Japanese stylist, gave me the perfect bob cut. She was meticulous in every step, from washing to cutting to the final blow-dry. I am confident this cut will grow out beautifully. I’m really disappointed with the service I received here. I came into the salon to simply get my hair tied up as I had an event later that day and I’ve got a disability so I can’t do it myself. For something that would’ve simply taken 5 minutes, it was made into an hour and a half’s procedure. Everything that I requested not to happen, did happen. I asked the hairdresser not to use spray as I’d just washed my hair and he used it, and it left crusty/sticky residue in my hair. We came to take my hair out later and it had been tied in a knot and was matted, it has completely wrecked the ends of my hair. He said he wanted to cut my hair and I said no, and luckily he listened to that request as all others had been ignored. I came to pay, as I was expecting to have to pay a small fee for just putting it in a ponytail. I was charged £20 for having it be put in a half up half down, something that anybody could’ve done and the hairdresser said that this “was a discount”. I spoke to friends to receive advice later that day and they said that I’d been taken advantage of because of my disability.
