Somewhat disappointed. Arrived at the restaurant only to be informed that I hadn't completed a taste test yet. Consequently, I'll be charged 50% of the meal cost and need to reschedule for another day. Considering the restaurant is fully booked for the next 2 months, this is quite frustrating. I'm disheartened that no one contacted me in advance to remind me about the taste test. Now I'm £40 down and in urgent need to make a reservation elsewhere.
Oliver is fantastic! The pub has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with high-quality beverages, and Oliver is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. I tried the ale and whiskey pairing - the flavors complement each other perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I waited briefly while my friend had her meal, and the service for me was excellent. Offered a drink while waiting, and the staff were incredibly polite. The restaurant had a clean, welcoming, and cozy ambiance. Oliver also did a fantastic job preparing my friend's meal.
