Contrary to other feedback, my experience at Miyu left me dissatisfied. I had a haircut and colour done. The haircut didn't consider my usual parting, resulting in an off-centre part that didn't suit me. The layers added made me look older, and I had to get it fixed elsewhere. Regarding the colour, I wanted to blend my highlights with my natural hair but ended up losing them all due to a dark toner. While I may have not communicated effectively, I believe the colourist should ensure our visions align. I returned for corrections, expecting some cost adjustment, but was charged more on the second visit. I won't be returning.
I've been a loyal client of Lyr for more than a year now, seeking extensions, colour, and cuts. The extensions are flawlessly blended, so much so that they go unnoticed. Lyr always prioritises your desires and I consistently leave the salon adoring my hair! Both Lyr and Amie are delightful and strive to ensure your visit is as pleasant as possible - the reclining massage chair is a nice touch!
A delightful experience, highly recommend! I visited this salon after a disappointing hair treatment elsewhere. Lyr skillfully corrected my highlights, and now I'm thrilled with my hair - the pricing was very reasonable too. Will certainly return!
